Chicago 2010

In October, we went with Will's family to the Windy city of Chicago and had blast exploring the city.  We stayed in a condo right off of Grant Park that had great views of the downtown and lake.

It was the first vacation trip that included Fitz, Mollie's husband and it was nice to have another in-law in the bunch. Trips with the Richardsons are always great fun...good food, a bit of sarcasm and lots of laughing.

Although baseball season was over, we had to make a trip out to Wrigley Field to see the outside of the stadium and neighborhood (we ended up finding a great place to eat and explore).

And of course what trip to Chicago would be complete without trying a true Chicago style hotdog complete with onions, mustard and a dill pickle (don't ask for ketchup!).

Overall it was a great trip and the pictures only show a portion of what we ended up doing.  We also spent time at Hancock tower, Museum of Natural History, the Planetarium and Shedd's Aquarium.  We ate great food, pizza twice and found some fabulous Jazz music late one evening.  We came home tired!
